SINGAPORE: Those looking to send season's greetings to loved ones can now do so in style, and for a good cause too.

Fashion outlet Hermes has set up a postcard exhibition along Orchard Road to raise funds in support of welfare organisations in Singapore.

Said Madeleine Ho, marketing director of Hermes Singapore (Retail): "The front of the postcard captures your own unique look in Hermes silk, and the back is open sentences that you fill in to compose a personal note to your friends.

"We sell these postcards in sets of 10. So we encourage people to come in, play with our scarves, get their own postcards made, and to pass on the word through a very fun and friendly way to your friends."

Members of the public say it is a meaningful way to contribute towards a good cause.

"I find this is really unique, it's different from other kinds of charity," members of the public said. "You can help the needy people and at the same time you can take shots of yourself by a professional photographer."

The public can also bid for special postcards featuring celebrities like singers, actors and deejays.

The exhibition is on till November 15.
