SINGAPORE : Singapore and Thailand will meet in an Asian Cup qualifier this Saturday at the National Stadium.

Lions coach Raddy Avramovic would like fans to fill the stadium to give his side the home advantage.

The Singapore team has been training the entire week.

Captain Mohamed Noh Rahman said the Lions are confident of a win this Saturday. And he and his coach feel that fan support could just give the home team the extra boost to overcome their stronger rivals.

Thailand had two weeks of preparations and are injury free, according to Coach Bryan Robson.

And fans can expect goals as the visitors will avoid a defensive strategy and go for a win ahead of the return leg in Bangkok next Wednesday.

Avramovic said: "I think all of them (are) trying very hard in training and I can see that (their) attitude is absolutely great."

Robson said: "If we think we are good enough to win at home, we should think that we are good enough to win away from home and that is our mindset." - CNA/ms
