SINGAPORE : Kitty Lab - an interactive exhibition on the Hello Kitty phenomenon - is now in Singapore as part of Hello Kitty's 35th anniversary celebrations.
The two-week exhibition at Singapore Expo features games where visitors can create their own "kitties" and various Kitty merchandise.
It cost S$2 million to set up and organisers are expecting some 60,000 visitors to the event, which kicks off on Saturday.
After Singapore, Kitty Lab returns to Tokyo for a permanent exhibition.
Daphne Hoon, a Hello Kitty fan, said: "This is a brand new experience where every game here is Kitty-related. So it is something different from buying merchandise." - CNA/ms
