SINGAPORE: The North East Community Development Council is setting aside S$100,000 for a "Special Talent Fund" for the disabled to realise their dreams.

The fund was announced on Saturday at a ceremony to recognise individuals and organisations that have contributed towards helping the disabled secure employment during the downturn.

The fund will help the disabled with special talents in certain fields such as music, arts and sports pursue their ambitions in these areas.
