Their day began onboard the Singapore Flyer.

The ride is popular with the young and the young at heart, as it offers a panoramic view of the Singapore skyline and the upcoming integrated resort at Marina Bay.

The spouses were also given a briefing on the developments of the Marina Bay area and the upcoming integrated resort there.

Ms Ho Ching, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's wife, was the host and led the way as the spouses penned their thoughts on 'Wishing Spheres'. These will be lit up and floated at Marina Bay during the New Year countdown celebrations.
