SINGAPORE : Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Finance and Transport Minister Lim Hwee Hwa visited residents of Serangoon constituency on Sunday.

Mrs Lim walked around parts of Serangoon North Avenue 1 and interacted with residents, addressing any concerns they had.

Officers from various government agencies were present to follow up on those concerns.

Mrs Lim then spoke about the lessons Singaporeans can pick up from the APEC summit.

"It will help to increase the understanding of what are the issues that go around the world and... how it affects me in Singapore? How does it affect my employability, how does it affect the kind of career that I have," said Mrs Lim. - CNA /ls
