18-year-old feared to have drowned off East Coast Park


SINGAPORE: The body of the 18-year-old teen who drowned at East Coast on Sunday has been found.

According to the Police, the body washed ashore at around the same location where he last went missing.

He was pronounced dead at about 2.10am on Tuesday.

On Sunday, the emergency services had received a call at around 6.20pm about the boy, who was seen struggling in the water. The incident happened about 25 metres from the shoreline near the McDonalds restaurant.
