SINGAPORE: The Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee and PSA have signed an agreement, making PSA the Official Maritime and Shipping Sponsor.

Under the deal, PSA will work with the committee's appointed logistics service providers to facilitate the handling of containers carrying games-related equipment from over 200 National Olympic Committees.

PSA will also provide billboard space to promote Singapore 2010 along Keppel Road and Tanjong Pagar Road.

Both parties said the prominent billboards will "increase visibility of the games" and "generate more buzz for the eagerly-awaited event".

The inaugural Youth Olympic Games will be held in Singapore in August 2010.
