Aviation Run raises S$218,000 for Community Chest

SINGAPORE: Members of the aviation community did their bit for charity on Saturday.

More than 4,000 runners from 116 organisations kept their feet firmly grounded, as they participated in the Aviation Run at Changi Exhibition Centre.

The charity run raised S$218,000 for the Community Chest.

The event, officiated by Transport Minister Raymond Lim, was part of the Civil Aviation Authority's 25th anniversary celebrations.
