SINGAPORE: The festive season is upon us again. But amid the revelry, the police is reminding all in Singapore to be vigilant while shopping and celebrating.

The Annual Festive Season Crime Prevention Campaign was launched at Suntec City Fountain of Wealth on Saturday.

Gracing the event was Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Education and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli.

This year's campaign tagline is once again "Low Crime Doesn't Mean No Crime", with a the secondary message of "Don't Hide from the Fact...Be Alert".

Fun-filled activities for the young and families helped drive home the message, which will also be disseminated island-wide through radio broadcasts and outdoor advertising on taxis and bus-stops. - CNA/vm
