Body of child found in a canal

Singapore: The body of a child has been found in a canal along Bendemeer Road.

Police said they are unable to confirm if the child is the boy who had earlier been reported missing.

Officials also said a man has been arrested.

On Tuesday, police issued an appeal for information on 6-year-old Muhammad Nor Rashidy Rahmat.

The boy, who was about 1.20m tall with fair complexion and black hair, was last seen at Block 65 Kallang Bahru on November 18 at about 6pm.
