S'porean film-makers can enhance skills with "The Reel Experience"

SINGAPORE: Singapore film-makers will soon stand a chance to learn from some of the best in Asia.

They can apply for a programme known as "The Reel Experience", which will be launched in February next year.

Successful applicants will be attached for a period of 12 weeks in China, Hong Kong or Macau.

In China, they will learn from film makers at the world's largest television and film studios, Hengdian World Studios, in Zhejiang, China.

Director of Talent Development at the Media Development Authority, Tham Wai Kin, said the programme's main objective is to enhance Singapore film-makers' skills and produce compelling films to captivate world audiences.
