SINGAPORE: It is less than a week to the finale of the 'We Are One' project, and organisers are rallying help from some very able hands.

Children of Courts staff and customers are adding the final touches to their latest project - the new Courts Megastore - in Lego bricks, no less.

Over at the Modern Montessori International School, some pre-schoolers also chipped in to build their own Lego structure, costing S$50,000.

Mr Michael Phillips, Deputy Head of Early Childhood Department at Modern Montessori International, said: "This is a way that Modern Montessori and our children, whom we try to give values to, to help those, to help each other, to share, to get along - that we can give back to the community, what we have been given by them."

'We Are One' is a corporate social responsibility project involving CapitaLand, LEGO Singapore and MediaCorp. It aims to raise $1 million for charity. - CNA/de
