SINGAPORE: NTUC Eldercare is taking over the Henderson Senior Citizens' Home, which is located in Bukit Merah View, at the invitation of the Chinese Women's Association.

This was announced by Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Lim Boon Heng, on Saturday.

NTUC Eldercare will manage it come January next year. It hopes to enhance the home's facilities and introduce more programmes to promote active ageing.

Training will also be given to help staff and family look after the residents.
