SINGAPORE: A wooden boat sank after colliding with another vessel off Sentosa late Monday night.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) said the incident happened in the Buran Channel as the vessel headed for the Eastern Petroleum A Anchorage from Penjuru Terminal.
All four people onboard the boat, which was carrying ship stores, were transferred to a passing craft.
There were no reported injuries.
The other boat involved in the collision was not damaged.
It was on its way to the Eastern Bunkering C Anchorage from Penjuru Terminal.
MPA has marked the sunken craft with a buoy.
Navigational safety in the area is not affected and MPA has broadcast warnings to vessels to stay clear of the area and to navigate with caution.
