SINGAPORE: Advertising is getting more and more complex as companies look for unique ways to market their products.

To cater to that requirement, a new advertising space has been created within one of Singapore's new malls, ION Orchard.

An LED escalator in the mall is the first of its kind in Singapore, offering continuous digital advertising that cuts through four levels of the building.

Advertising rates start from S$500 a day and the content is handled by MediaCorp's OOH Media which specialises in out-of-home advertising.

Melvin Kwok, senior manager, marketing, OOH Media, said: "In addition to strategic locations and highly innovative out-of-home advertising platforms, we have the unique ability to capture and retain more consumer eyeballs by extending MediaCorp's news, entertainment and lifestyle content onto our out-of-home digital screens."
