SINGAPORE: Search efforts are continuing for seven people who remain missing from the tugboat "Ocean Lark" which capsized off Pedra Branca on Wednesday.
Involved in search and rescue operations are four vessels from the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), a Super Puma helicopter and a pair of Fokker 50 maritime patrol aircraft from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), one Indonesian navy vessel and 14 commercial vessels.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), the Singapore-registered tugboat had an Indonesian crew.
It had left Batam, Indonesia and was headed to Matak, Indonesia when the incident happened.
Two crew members were rescued by a passing Singapore supply vessel some 16 nautical miles east of Horsburgh Lighthouse on Wednesday.
Later the same day, two bodies were recovered by divers from salvage company Posh Semco Pte Ltd.
On Thursday, another two bodies were recovered from "Ocean Lark", bringing the total number of bodies recovered to four.
