SINGAPORE: The idea of a roving party bus may not be new here. But new players entering the market are hoping to give the scene a further boost.

Both tourists and Singaporeans can party through the night at some of the island's top nightlife destinations, all thanks to party buses bringing them around town.

For a small fee, party-goers get driven, jump the queue and get their drinks too. This is something the organisers plan to do on a regular basis.

Lazio, managing director, Singapore Parties, said: "We really want to put Singapore on the map as a hot spot for nightlife entertainment."

Wendy Leong, general manager, City Tours, said: "We have already featured these programmes to our overseas partners by telling them to do a weekend programme into Singapore. A three-day, two nights party programme so that they will include the hotel and this party bus is one of the key components."

The organisers are also hoping to tap into the expected increase of tourists to Singapore once the Integrated Resorts are open. - CNA/vm
