SINGAPORE: The River Hong Bao festivities at the Marina Bay Floating Platform has been drawing in the crowds these past few days.
Some 640,000 people have visited the festival, more than double the initial target of 300,000 set by organisers.
And on Wednesday evening, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong joined in the celebrations with some 500 residents from Tanjong Pagar GRC.
They were there for the Community New Year dinner along with their MP, Sam Tan.
Besides food, visitors were also entertained to music from the 1960s to the latest pop hits.
