S$11,000 worth of cash and jewellery stolen in two separate break-ins

SINGAPORE : A woman lost about S$5,000 worth of jewellery when her home at Block 116 Pending Road was broken into last Friday.

She had left her home in the morning and returned at about 6pm to find her room ransacked.

The jewellery, which she had kept under the bed, was missing.

In a separate incident on Friday, a man lost close to S$6,000 in cash and valuables when his home at Jalan Kerja was broken into.

He discovered the break-in when he returned home at about 10pm.

The cupboard in the bedroom was ransacked. Cash amounting to S$5,000 and jewellery worth about S$800, which were kept in a drawer, went missing.

Witnesses can call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000.
