SINGAPORE: Fire broke out at a flat in Block 165, Hougang Avenue 1 on Tuesday night. No one was injured.

The fire happened at about 10pm. Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel put out the blaze in 25 minutes.

The fire was confined to the bedroom and did not spread to other units.

A middle-aged man, who lives in the four-room flat, complained of breathing difficulties but did not want to be sent to hospital.
