Lorry carrying crane hits bridge connecting Pan Pacific Hotel & Marina Square

SINGAPORE : A lorry ferrying a crane hit the overhead bridge connecting Pan Pacific Hotel and Marina Square late Thursday night.

Police said they received a call at about 11.30pm on Thursday night informing them about an accident along Raffles Boulevard.

The lorry and crane had a combined height that had exceeded the bridge's recommended height limit of 4.5 metres.

No casualties were reported, and debris resulting from the accident has been cleared.

Police investigations are ongoing. - CNA/ms
