SINGAPORE: The air forces of Singapore, Thailand and the US have wrapped up their trilateral exercise at Korat Air Base in Thailand.

They completed Exercise Cope Tiger on Saturday, which involved 80 aircraft, 36 ground-based air defence systems and about 1,000 personnel.

Singapore's Ministry of Defence said Exercise Cope Tiger, which started in 1994, aims to enhance the inter-operability and professionalism of the participating forces.

It also aims to foster closer rapport and understanding among their personnel.

Participants also took part in a three-day socio-civic programme to provide basic health and dental care to the local community in Korat.
