Foreign Minister George Yeo to visit Hong Kong, Shanghai

SINGAPORE: Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo will visit Hong Kong and Shanghai from March 14 to March 18.

In Hong Kong, Mr Yeo will call on Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang and former Hong Kong Chief Executive and Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Tung Chee Hwa. He will also meet Hong Kong Financial Secretary John Tsang.

In Shanghai, Mr Yeo will attend the Harvard Business School Asia-Pacific Advisory Board Meeting. He will also meet the Chairman of Shanghai Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, Gong Xueping.

Mr Yeo will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
