SINGAPORE : National gaming operator Singapore Pools is extending its prize claim period from 90 days to 180 days.

This will apply to all prize entitlements on or after April 8.

Although the existing 90-day claim period is more than adequate for winners to claim their prize, Singapore Pools said extending it will cater to the minority of customers who are unable to claim their prize within the period.

It did not reveal the proportion of customers who failed to make their prize claims within 90 days, but said the number was insignificant.
