SINGAPORE: A group of about 10 elderly and disabled persons were the VIPs at the Night Safari on Monday evening.

They enjoyed free admission with their Developmental Disability Registry card.

Besides serving as a form of identification, the card entitles them to exclusive offers by partners of the National Council of Social Service.

In the council's latest collaboration with Wildlife Reserves Singapore, members can visit the Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari and Singapore Zoo all year round for free.

There are about 2,000 such cardholders from 88 voluntary welfare organisations. - CNA/vm
