SINGAPORE : Singapore football fans may soon be able to rub shoulders with some of the sport's legends.

The city state will be holding a two-day SoccerEx Asian Forum at the Raffles Convention Centre from July 28. The forum will bring together key players in the sport from Europe's top clubs and elsewhere.

This will be the forum's first appearance in the Asia-Pacific region, and is expected to involve some 1,500 delegates.

English Premier League team managers like Manchester United's Alex Ferguson and Liverpool's Rafael Benitez were regulars at past forums.

Thailand national football team coach, Bryan Robson, said: "Soccerex gives everybody a great opportunity to come together, see where people have improved, see where they've had benefits, talk to each other and then go back to their own countries and try and improve in those areas."
