SM Goh to visit India

SINGAPORE: Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong will make an official visit to New Delhi from Thursday till Saturday.

Mr Goh last visited India in March 2008.

During the visit, Senior Minister Goh will meet Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Minister of External Affairs S M Krishna, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Ms Sushma Swaraj, Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia and other Indian political leaders.

Mr Goh will also meet senior executives from the Indian private sector and top economic analysts.

In addition, he will deliver the keynote address at the Asia Society's 20th Asian Corporate Conference in New Delhi.

The conference aims to bring together government leaders and senior business executives from Asia, Europe and the US. - CNA/vm
