Man who allegedly attacked his mother with chopper charged in court

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested the 24-year-old man who allegedly attacked his mother with a chopper on Thursday. He was charged in court on Friday afternoon.

The incident is said to have taken place at an HDB block in Jurong East, Street 21, where cleaners were busy cleaning the blood on Thursday.

The 50-year-old mother was wounded on her forehead and was sent to NUH, but was not warded.

The weapon was recovered in their flat.
