SINGAPORE: A 34-year-old Indian national was charged in court on Friday with the murder of a Filipino woman.Gopinathan Nair Remadevi Bijukumar is said to have caused the death of Roselyn Reyes Pascua. Ms Pascua was found stabbed in the chest in a fifth-floor unit of Peony Mansion at Bencoolen Street early on Monday.If convicted, he faces the mandatory death penalty. He will appear in court again on March 26.- CNA/sc
