Candlelight memorial to remember AIDS victims

SINGAPORE: A candlelight memorial was held at Hong Lim Park on Sunday to remember those who have fallen victim to AIDS.

The event was organised by the Action for AIDS and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

It was held in conjunction with the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, a programme of the Global Health Council.

Some 1,500 communities in 115 countries are also holding the memorial.
