SINGAPORE : Over S$230,000 has been raised at a golf event organised by the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA).
The funds will go towards the association's talent-grooming efforts for the sport.
Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng was at the event.
Table tennis awareness programmes in community clubs, childcare centres and kindergartens will gain from the amount raised.
They are part of the association's plans to develop players for the national team. - CNA /ls
