Singapore shares end 0.33% lower

SINGAPORE : Singapore shares ended 0.33 per cent lower on Friday as traders cashed in gains on three consecutive days of gains.

The benchmark Straits Times Index shed 9.95 points to end the week at 2,987.70.

Volume totalled 1.41 billion shares worth S$2.08 billion. Losers beat gainers 276 to 172.

Noble Group fell seven cents or 4.1 per cent to S$1.65 while Singapore Telecommunications rose a cent to S$3.12.

CapitaLand gained the most, up 1.5 percent to S$3.96. - CNA /ls
