SINGAPORE: The People's Association Youth Movement's Youth Clubs at the East Coast GRC and Joo Chiat have been rallying Singaporeans to give their full support for the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in Singapore, which is two weeks away.

The carnival's called 'You knOw the Games' and showcases all 26 sports of the YOG.

Joining the celebrations were the MPs from the division who completed the graffiti backdrop to launch the carnival.

2,000 participants attempted to set a new record for Singapore Book of Records with the most number of people putting on a temporary tattoo of the Singapore flag at one event.

Organising Chairman of 'You knOw the Games' and chairman of the Changi Simei Community Club Youth Executive, Steve Chia said: "This carnival is a one-stop platform for the community to learn about and try out the 26 sports of the YOG. 'You knOw the Games' hopes to create buzz and community ownership of the inaugural SYOG and, in the process, build an active community."
