Man believed to have fallen to death from Shaw Centre carpark

SINGAPORE : A man is believed to have fallen to his death at a multi-storey carpark at Shaw Centre in Orchard Road on Tuesday evening.

He landed on a car, giving the driver and passenger a shock.

Police said they received a call at about 5.05 pm that a person was lying motionless at the foot of Shaw Centre.

The deceased is a Malay man in his early 20s.

He was pronounced dead at about 5.15 pm.

The driver said he heard a loud bang and saw something land on his windscreen.

He stopped the vehicle, got out and saw the body lying on the road.

Channel NewsAsia understands that a young woman, seen boarding the ambulance, was with the deceased when the incident happened.
