The Indonesian minister also met his Singapore counterpart, George Yeo.
They reviewed the good progress made in bilateral relations and explored ways to further strengthen collaboration between Indonesia and Singapore.
Dr Marty and Mr Yeo also exchanged views on the challenges the region and ASEAN will face in the years ahead.
In this regard, both ministers agreed to continue to work closely to advance ASEAN's interests during Indonesia's ASEAN Chairmanship in 2011.
On Monday evening, Mr Yeo hosted the Indonesian minister and his delegation to a "buka puasa" or break fast meal during the Muslim month of Ramadan.
