SINGAPORE: A 41-year-old recalcitrant molester was sent to five years' corrective training for molesting three young girls.

Forty-one-year-old Wee Chin Yong, who's unemployed, met his first victim, a 10-year-old student as she was walking to school at around 7.15am last November.

He struck up a conversation with her and put his arms around her shoulder.

Wee then poked the girl's chest and continued doing so even after she told him to stop.

He targeted the two other girls, aged nine and 10, on February 10.

Wee could have been given up to 14 years of corrective training, a regime for repeat offenders that offers no chance of early release for good behaviour.
