Maintenance works on Raffles statue

SINGAPORE: The statue of Sir Stamford Raffles at the Raffles Landing Site along the Singapore River is scheduled to undergo general maintenance works from September 13 to 17.

The works will include cleaning, painting and minor repairs of the white statue.

The Singapore Tourism Board said during this time, barricades would be put up around the statue for the safety of visitors.
