SINGAPORE: National Development Minister Mah Bow Tan is visiting Beijing and Jilin Province in China from September 7 to 9.
He will meet the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Han Changfu, and Mr Sun Zhengcai, Party Secretary of the Communist Party of China Jilin Provincial Committee.
Mr Mah will also be the Guest-of-Honour at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Integrated Pig Farm project jointly undertaken by Singapore Food Industries, Jilin China-Singapore Food Zone Development Construction Investment and Dachan Food (Asia).
Mr Mah is accompanied by officials from his ministry, as well as representatives from the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority and International Enterprise Singapore.
