SINGAPORE : The Istana grounds will be open to the public on Friday to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa from 8.30am to 6.00pm.
Bands from Zhonghua Secondary and Deyi Secondary will perform at the Open House.
There will also be a Malay dance performance put up by People's Association talents.
Visitors can also get their faces painted by make-up artists from Cosmoprof Academy.
Admission to the Istana grounds is free for Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents.
Other visitors will have to pay an entrance fee of $1 per person.
For an entrance fee of $2, visitors can also tour selected function rooms in the Istana to view gifts presented by foreign dignitaries to the President and Prime Minister.
Istana souvenirs will also be sold during the Open House.
All proceeds from the sale of souvenirs and entrance fees collected will be donated to charity. - CNA /ls
