SINGAPORE: Several hospitals will now be able to teach patients with mobility issues and their caregivers how to board and alight a vehicle safely in a more realistic setting.

The move was made possible after ComfortDelgro donated three decommissioned taxis for the purpose.

The taxis were donated to National University Hospital, St. Andrew's Community Hospital and St Luke's Hospital.

The five-year-old taxis, which engines have been removed, have brown licence plates and cannot be used on the roads. - CNA/fa
