SINGAPORE: With the growing popularity of virtual worlds, advanced measures are being taken to enhance cyber-security for children.

Disney's Club Penguin, one of the fastest-growing virtual worlds, aims to create a safe online haven for children.

A snow playground populated by lively penguins, the virtual Club Penguin offers fun for kids - and peace of mind for parents.

Safety measures include on-site moderators and providing personalised support.

The site also has a unique chat filtering system which allows parents to control the language used.

It also prevents children from revealing personal details online.

The technology seeks to empower parents and ensure the cyber-safety of children. - CNA/fa
