SINGAPORE: Motocross Challenge 2007 is coming to Singapore in a first such event to be held in a city.

The bike race is certainly not for the faint-hearted but organisers say one does not have to be a dare-devil to ride a mini-scrambler.

One does not even need a license.

All that is needed is safety gear and a few hours of professional guidance, according to organisers Motorcycle Safety and Sports Club and the National Youth Council.

Motocross Challenge 2007 takes place at *scape in Orchard Road from March 17.

Following that, it will be held on the third weekend of each month until May 19. - CNA/yy
