SINGAPORE : Singapore will be the first in Asia to host an exhibition dedicated entirely to bicycles, motorcycles and everything associated with two-wheelers.
BikeAsia 2008 will be held from 10-13 April next year and will take up Halls 3 and 4 at the Singapore Expo.
Revealing the details on Tuesday, organisers EICMA and BikeAsia Pte Ltd said the event originates from Europe and talks with the people behind the exhibition began a year ago.
The organisers added that it had also roped in the Singapore Tourism Board in organising BikeAsia 2008.
The event will see European organisers launching their Asian editions here.
Other possible highlights include stunts and races around the Singapore Expo, Changi and East Coast. - CNA/ms
