SINGAPORE : Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Dr Yaacob Ibrahim will attend the 3rd Meeting of the Sub-Regional Ministerial Steering Committee on Transboundary Haze Pollution, in Jambi, Indonesia on Wednesday.
The meeting involves the five sub-regional countries - Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
It will discuss measures to tackle land and forest fires in the southern ASEAN region.
The delegation accompanying Dr Yaacob comprises senior officials from the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources and the National Environment Agency. - CNA /ls
