Decomposed body found in Kranji Reservoir

SINGAPORE: The decomposed body of a man was found in the Kranji Reservoir on Tuesday.

Police said they received a call at 12.10pm, reporting that a body was seen floating in the waters of Fishing Ground A, which is on the left of the Kranji Dam.

The area is open for fishing daily from 7am to 7pm.

The Police sealed off the area and proceeded to recover the body, which was decomposed beyond recognition.

The man had no identification papers and the police have yet to ascertain his race and age.
