SINGAPORE: A small crowd gathered outside the Myanmar Embassy in Singapore on Sunday evening to remember those killed in protests in Myanmar in recent days.
About 60 of them, including Myanmar nationals, Singaporeans and foreigners, stood united against the bloodshed in Myanmar.
Many were clad in t-shirts, calling for the authorities to put an end to the violence against protesters.
They also hope to submit a petition, with some 200 signatures so far, to the Myanmar government and ambassador.
In the petition, they urged the Myanmar government to have dialogues with the opposition and the people.
They also asked for Nobel Laureate and democracy icon, Aung San Suu Kyi, to be freed from her house arrest.
