SINGAPORE : The public can check out Changi Airport's new Terminal 3 even before it opens in January next year.

The terminal will be open to the public for a sneak preview from November 12 to December 9.

Among the highlights for visitors - an exhibition showcasing the design and architecture of the terminal.

There are also plasma display panels featuring parts of the terminal such as the 'Green Wall' and the 'People Moving System'.

Admission to the public areas is free. Visitors will be allowed access to the retail and dining outlets at level 3 as well as the Viewing Gallery on Level 4.

There are also guide brochures in four major languages.

As for the restricted transit areas, visitors will need to pay a $1 for admission fee for a self-guided tour, or $3 for a 45-minute guided tour.

Tickets to the restricted area will be sold at the Departure Hall. Proceeds will go to the Singapore Cancer Society, the adopted charity of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.

Some retail and dining outlets will also be open to visitors.

Opening hours are from 10am to 5pm on weekdays, and 9am to 6pm on weekends.
