SINGAPORE : There is yet another player in the donut scene in Singapore, with the opening of J.Co Donuts & Coffee.

The chain has opened its first outlet at Raffles City.

J.Co claims its lifestyle concept sets its apart from takeaway stores, like trend-setter Donut Factory.

J.Co, which began in Indonesia in 2005 and has opened 33 outlets since then, is franchised by BreadTalk.

BreadTalk aims to bring in 15 J.Co outlets over the next three years.

The next outlet will open in Bugis Junction in May. - CNA/ms
