MediaCorp to launch new TV channel for Indian programming

SINGAPORE: MediaCorp is launching a new television channel. It will be exclusively for Indian programming and will be called "Vasantham", which means "Spring" in Tamil.

This was announced by Senior Minister of State for Information, Communications and Arts Dr Balaji Sadasivan in Parliament on Friday. - CNA/ir
